Gary Quirke

Gary Quirke is Chief Executive Officer and founder of QueBIT Consulting. A Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, Gary has 15 years experience delivering best practice enterprise planning and performance management solutions to Fortune 1000 companies. Gary’s experience with multi-dimensional business planning and modeling software dates back to 1991 and he is recognized as an expert in this field. A regular contributor and speaker at industry events, Gary’s experience and expertise covers a broad range of business sectors including Life Sciences, Retail, Healthcare, Automotive, Shipping and Consumer Packaged Goods. Gary launched QueBIT Consulting in 2000 with the goal to bring best practice enterprise planning and corporate performance management solutions to mid-market companies at a price point that was consistent with their value objectives. Gary is proud of QueBIT’s achievements in delivering world class solutions to more than 250 very satisfied customers.

Catherine Jirak, CPA COO & Principal
Catherine Jirak

Catherine is the Chief Operating Officer for the regional consulting offices, responsible for all of the company’s operations including sales, service, and support. Catherine is co-partner of QueBIT Consulting and has been in the Enterprise Planning sector since 1996. She also plays a key role in the development of all partner relationships, ensuring flexibility in response to an increasingly demanding marketplace. Her career includes 10 years of enterprise planning consulting and 7 years of corporate experience, including Manager of Financial planning and analysis at CPC International, and Manager at KPMG Peat Marwick. Catherine has 20 years of business and technical experience focused on financial systems, and she was the principal of her own accounting service and software firm prior to QueBIT. Catherine holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Scranton and is a member of the AICPA. She is also an avid golfer, skier, and a member of PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America).

Richard Creeth Chief Technology Officer
Richard Creeth

Richard Creeth is the Chief Technology Officer for QueBIT Consulting. In the development of QueBIT products and solutions, Richard provides the vision for our TM1 offering, technical projects and future direction. Richard has extensive knowledge of, and experience with, technology consulting, application development and solution deployment. Richard was a founder of Creeth Richman Associates, acquired by QueBIT in 2008. Richard is an English Chartered Accountant, beginning with a “Big 6″ accounting firm in the United Kingdom. After specializing in computerized financial reporting systems, Richard transferred to a US firm in 1979 to work on the development of a financial reporting package. With the advent of PC’s in the early 1980′s Richard was an early proponent of their use in accounting and financial reporting applications.

Richard’s strengths are his considerable experience in programming and systems design coupled with his knowledge of accounting and business.

Richard takes an active interest in a variety of professional and business groups. He is a past president of the Association of Chartered Accountants in the United States and currently serves as a Selectman in the town of Wilton, CT.. He is a frequent speaker and writer on the subject of financial analytics and related subjects such as Data Warehousing and OLAP. Richard was one of the original authors of  The OLAP Report, a 600 page research report into the On-Line Analytical Processing marketplace.

Ann-Grete Tan Vice President of Services
Ann-Grete Tan

As QueBIT’s Vice President of Services, Ann-Grete Tan is responsible for realizing QueBIT’s vision of delivering cost effective yet high value, high quality consulting services. The key to achieving this is to develop exceptionally creative, skilled and engaged consultants who combine technical depth and aptitude with finance knowledge and a real appreciation of the business challenges faced by our customers. To this end, QueBIT focuses on hiring talented individuals, and providing them with the support they need including training, mentoring, and access to knowledge bases within a competitive, yet caring and collaborative, work environment.

Ann-Grete (or “A.G.” as she is more often known) has been a consultant since 1995, working with customers in a variety of industries including financial services, insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, high-tech and others. From 1997 – 2007 she was founder and Managing Director of the Mid-Atlantic office of Creeth, Richman & Associates, Inc. Prior to 1995 she worked as an academic researcher and software engineer in Denmark, Japan and West Africa. She has Bachelors and Masters degrees in Computer Science (from University College Dublin, Ireland and Aarhus University, Denmark respectively), and MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Gary Corrigan Vice President of Sales
Gary Corrigan

Gary has held various sales positions throughout his professional career.  Gary began his software sales career in 2000 when he joined Artemis International.  As an account manager he sold project and resource management software solutions for four years across the northeast region. 

In 2004 he joined Cognos Corporation’s general business sales team in New York where he sold business analytics software solutions.  In 2006 Gary transitioned to an enterprise sales team role focusing on Fortune 500 accounts in the New York region. Gary consistently qualified for Cognos Corporation’s President’s Club while in his contributing sales roles from 2004 through 2008.

After IBM’s acquisition of Cognos, Gary became the New York Metro Business Analytics Sales Manager for IBM in 2008.  In this role Gary managed sales teams in both the IBM general business and aligned customer segments.  

Between his experiences as a sales account representative and an IBM business analytics manager Gary has become well versed in selling software solutions and implementation services.  Gary now brings his unique experiences and perspective to the QueBIT team.  As Vice President of Sales he will lead the company’s sales team with responsibilities for sales process management, sales delivery, and alignment with IBM sales teams. 

Gary and his wife Leslie live in Darien, CT with their two baby girls. Gary is a graduate of Providence College where he holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in History.

Michael Cowie Director of Strategic Solutions
Michael Cowie

As Director of Strategic Solutions at QueBIT, Michael draws on his combined software development and consulting experience and focuses primarily on the development and delivery of innovative solutions for our customers. On the one hand, Michael still takes on the role of architect in a number of our consulting engagements, always with an eye to delivering as simple, but elegant, a solution as possible. At the same time, Michael is tasked with identifying and developing, with the help of our consulting team, more general solutions to problems across a number of vertical and horizontal applications for our customers. In some cases, Michael and the software development team may identify opportunities for QueBIT to develop software solutions that answer unmet needs with current vendor product offerings used in our consulting work. All of these activities help ensure that QueBIT is able to present its customers with the best technological options to solve their business problems.

Michael has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester and resides in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Mary Ann Erlanger, CPA Corporate Controller

As Corporate Controller, Mary Ann is responsible for all aspects of financial data and financial systems as well as company financial reporting and banking functions.

She holds a BS in accounting from the University of Scranton (where she was named to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities).

She began her career in audit with Price Waterhouse and moved on to run the Corporate Accounting Department of United Brands Company.  After taking time off to raise 5 children, she rejoined the workforce in 2006 joining QueBIT.  She is an active member of her church and spends time volunteering for many local charities, including Meals on Wheels and Midnight Run.  Her free time is spent running, cycling and hiking with her dogs.
